VIRGINIA LISC 20TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION
On Thursday, November 4, 2010, the Virginia office of the Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) will celebrate two decades of service to our community. With the support of many private and public leaders, and through the collaboration of more than a dozen community partners, we have helped to invest over $500 million of leveraged capital into neighborhoods across the region. More importantly, we have helped to improve the lives of thousands of modest income neighbors whose housing or child care access or health services or business growth has been enhanced by the work of our community development partners.
