In addition to helping community development corporations finance their projects, LISC helps make the groups more efficient and productive by providing training programs and learning opportunities for their staff and leadership. Virginia LISC also provides a GIS service which makes it possible to place data onto a map and then query, sort and categorize the data to understand a community.
